AI Quality Specialist (m/f/d)

Working student · Vienna, Austria · 15–25 hours/week · With the option to grow into full-time

notarity is Europe's leading platform for remote online notarization — hundreds of notaries, 100,000+ users, and one of the fastest-growing startups coming out of Vienna right now. Our customers are spread across the globe: someone in Singapore signing an Austrian document, a founder in São Paulo notarising for a company in Germany. You'll be talking to them.

You'll own your part of it from the start — and for the people who want it, there's the option to grow into a full-time role with us over time.

A large part of how we talk to our customers already runs through AI: our phone assistant, our chat, our automations. It handles thousands of conversations. Some of them it gets wrong. Finding those, fixing them, and taking over when a human is needed — that's what you'll do, and it puts you closer to how this company actually works than most internships ever get.

What you'll do

Judge what the AI says. You review AI calls and chats and decide whether the customer actually got what they needed. Where the answer was wrong, misleading, or missing, you document it — and your findings go straight to the team that improves the system. You'll see your input change how the product behaves.

Take over when it matters. When a customer wants a person, you're the person. You handle the frequent questions yourself — pricing, process, how notarisation works — and escalate the genuinely complex cases to operations. You're the first human contact for customers anywhere in the world.

Find out what went wrong. When feedback comes back negative, you call the customer, get the real story, and record it properly. Patterns you spot become fixes.

Catch problems before the customer does. Our systems flag when something is off — an appointment at risk, a booking that doesn't match what the customer actually needs, a rescheduling request that needs new coordination. You act on those flags and sort them out before they turn into a bad experience.

• Someone studying in Vienna who wants to see AI working in production rather than read about it. You'll review what our voice agent and chat models say to customers, step in when a human is needed, and hand what goes wrong to the engineers who fix it.

• Enrolled at a university in Vienna — law, business, or anything else

• Fluent English and German; further languages are a genuine advantage

• Comfortable on the phone with customers from very different countries and business cultures

• No professional experience required
