The Opportunity
We're seeking a dynamic Legal Technology Specialist to join our Legal Tech team in Vienna. This role welcomes tech-savvy lawyers and other professionals with legal understanding. You'll shape the future of legal service delivery across our CEE network, working with diverse practice groups to enhance efficiency and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to work with internationally renowned Legal Tech team in an environment where no two days are the same.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Act as the bridge between legal expertise and technology across all practice areas and 14 offices in the CEE network.
Work with cutting-edge legal tech tools (e.g. Legora, Harvey, Legatics, Document Drafter, Definely, Jigsaw) to enhance client service.
Identify, test, and implement legal tech and AI solutions for document review, workflow optimization, and automation opportunities.
Create, maintain, and improve automated document templates tailored to practice group needs.
Lead training and provide ongoing support to lawyers on new technologies and best practices.
Apply legal design thinking to analyze workflows, gather requirements, and plan implementations.
Collaborate with tech vendors to give feedback, support solution testing, configuration, and performance monitoring.
Monitor technology adoption, research emerging tools, and use lawyer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
What you should bring along
Solid legal understanding with 2–3 years’ experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, innovation team, or tech startup.Strong interest in legal technology and AI, combining legal understanding with technological curiosity and passion for leveraging innovative solutions to transform legal processes.
Familiarity with multiple legal practice areas (e.g., corporate, litigation, employment, IP, regulatory) and/or background in legal transactions or project management.
Hands-on experience with AI tools in legal contexts and ability to assess, test, and implement innovative solutions, though given the fast-changing pace of legal tech, we prioritize motivation, adaptability, and eagerness to learn over extensive prior experience.
Fluent English; German skills are a strong advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Entrepreneurial, collaborative, and adaptable, able to work effectively across diverse practice areas and disciplines.
